Amravati. Police have arrested 3 accused for spreading panic among citizens with weapons in their hands. Nagpuri Gate Police has seized the sword from the possession of accused Mohammad Sadiq alias Lakhan Mohammad Jameel (33, Gawlipura, Near School). Rajapeth police arrested Asif Khan and recovered a knife from the possession of Mukesh Bhaurao Thackeray (32, resident of Nav Durgvihar, Kumbharwada) and the Kotwali police arrested Asif Khan. A case has been registered against the three accused under Section 4/25 of the Arms Act.
Sword was raised in Gavalipura
An accused has been arrested for spreading panic among citizens with sword in hand in Gawlipura under Nagpur Gate police station area. The accused has been identified as Mohammad Sadiq alias Lakhan Mohammad Jameel (33, Gawlipura, Near School). An iron sword has been recovered from him. Action was taken by API Hivirale and Police Constable Pramod Gudde under the guidance of Police Inspector Pundalik Meshram.
Threatened by showing iron sarcophagus
The Rajapeth police had received information that a person was threatening the citizens with an iron stoor in his hand in Mayanagar of Rajapeth area. On whose information the police team reached Maya Nagar and arrested the accused Mukesh Thackeray. Sattur was confiscated from him.
Arrested for carrying a knife in the waist
Kotwali police had received information that the accused Wasim Khan Asif Khan (32, Gulistanagar) was roaming in Bapat Chowk with an iron knife in his waist. On which a team of police constable Junaid Khan Ibrahim Khan led by PSI Rajendra Gulatkar reached the spot. The police arrested the accused Asif Khan and recovered a knife from him.
