The recovery rate in the city has been recorded at 89 percent today. This information was given by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday.
According to the BMC, after 11,317 new cases were reported in Mumbai in the last 24 hours, the total number of infected people has increased to 9,81,306. While the death toll has reached 16,435.

According to the data released by BMC, out of the new patients found in Mumbai, 9,506 patients (84%) are asymptomatic, while 800 patients have been hospitalised. Out of which 88 required oxygen. Currently 2,824 patients are on oxygen. While a total of 6,432 patients are being treated in the hospital. At present there are 38,088 beds in Mumbai, out of which 31,656 beds are vacant.
