Nagpur. State Transport Minister Anil Parab has given an ultimatum to all the ST employees sitting on strike on the last day to return to work by March 10. If the matter is not obeyed then they will take strict action. The effect of this warning of Minister Parab was that 22 employees in Nagpur have confirmed to come to work from Saturday. Explain that according to the minister, no action will be taken against the employees who will return to work. But strict action can be taken against those who do not obey.
The Maharashtra government has made it clear that STs will not be merged with the government. Only employees will have to return to work. Now the government will not waste time in persuading the employees. Those employees who do not agree, the government will take another route. If sources are to be believed, it is clear from this stand of the government that ST employees will not be merged in the government. Work will have to be done according to the system which is applicable in the past. In this, the government has given a relief that no action will be taken against the employees who will return to work. This has opened the way for those employees who want to return to work.
