Yavatmal, In the last 24 hours, 217 new corona positive patients have been found in the district. At the same time, 245 patients have become corona free. So two corona-affected people have died. At present, the number of active positive patients is 1394 in the district and 1433 in the outer district. Of these, 43 patients are hospital and 1390 are home isolated.
According to the report received by the Zilla Parishad Health Department, a total of 1208 corona test reports were received today. Out of which the report of remaining 991 has turned out to be negative after getting the report of 217 positive. The total number of positive patients in the district so far is 78546. At the same time, the total number of cured patients is 75316. The number of patients who died of corona in the district has gone up to 1797. Among the dead are a 65-year-old male resident of Nanjha in Kalamb tehsil and a 45-year-old female from Nanded district.
Out of the 217 positive patients found today, 91 are female and 126 are male. Arni Tehsil K 45, Babhulgaon 16, Darwa 6, Digras II, Ghatanji 11, Kalamb II, Mahagaon One, Maregaon One, Ner 13, Pandharkwada 21, Pusad 14, Ralegaon 7, Umarkhed One, Wani 16, Yavatmal 51, Jhari Jamani Four And 6 patients from other districts are included.
So far 8 lakh 25 thousand 291 tests have been conducted in the district, out of which 7 lakh 46 thousand 649 have turned out to be negative. At present, the positivity rate of the district is 9.52 and the daily positivity rate is 17.96 and the death rate is 2.29.
1725 beds available in GMC, DCHC and private hospitals
The total number of beds in the district is 1766 in Government Medical Colleges, 11 Dedicated COVID Health Centers and 7 Private COVID Hospitals. Of these, 41 beds are in use by patients. There are 1725 beds available. In this, out of total 787 beds in Government Medical College, 41 beds are in use of patients. 746 beds remaining, out of total 857 beds in 11 DCHCs, 857 beds are left.
And out of the total 122 beds in 7 private COVID hospitals, the entire 122 beds are left. In view of the increasing number of corona patients, District Magistrate Amol Yedge has appealed to the citizens to use masks, maintain social distance and sanitize their hands frequently.
