With 100 percent vaccination, it will be possible to reduce the death due to corona and health related and other side effects due to infection. For this, a navigable Har Ghar Dastak campaign will be run in the district. For this, 508 teams of health department have been prepared.
By giving one village per day to each team, along with public awareness regarding vaccination, the eligible citizens will be vaccinated there. Campaign will be run in 7 tehsils
Har Ghar Dastak for Corona Vaccination This campaign will be run in 7 tehsils of the district during the period from 20 to 27 December. A target has been set to give vaccine to 1.23 lakh citizens, leaving 830 villages to be given the first vaccine. In this campaign will be run with the help of primary health center, sub-centre team, kotwal, patwari, gram sevak, ASHA and Anganwadi workers.
Sironcha, Bhamragad, Etapalli, Aheri, Mulchera, Chamorshi and Dhanora tehsils are included in seven tehsils. To meet the target of 1 lakh vaccines, 1424 vaccination sessions will be organized in this campaign. This includes 193 vaccination sessions in Dhanora, 123, Mulchera 81, Aheri 499, Bhamragad 105, Sironcha 165, Etapalli308 and Chamorshi tehsils.
The first dose of vaccination in the district has been given to 78.91 percent of the eligible citizens. There are 1 lakh 76 thousand 90 among those deprived of taking the first dose. Out of these, a target has been set to vaccinate 1.25 lakh citizens in 8 days of this campaign. Due to which there will definitely be 100 percent vaccination in Gadchiroli district.
Campaign will be effective for farmers, laborers
This campaign will prove to be very effective for the citizens expressed in agriculture and farm labor in the district. The team of Health Department will do vaccination throughout the day and if required, even at night. District Collector Sanjay Meena has called upon the citizens of the district to cooperate with this campaign of the administration.
