Gorakhpur : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a unique gift of health facilities to the state on the auspicious date of Ram Navami. He said that in all 403 assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh, upgraded hospitals with all the resources of 100 beds would be made. Along with this, action is being taken to make available the best CSC-PSC of 25 to 30 beds in each development block area of the state.
CM Yogi was inaugurating the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Mela for the entire state from Jangal Kauriya PHC in Gorakhpur on Sunday. On this occasion, he said that it is the duty of the government to give good health to every person and we are making every effort in this direction. Healthy society will be created only with good health and only after having a healthy society can we contribute in building a strong Uttar Pradesh and a strong India. The Chief Minister said that the government has moved rapidly in the direction of strengthening the health infrastructure. Once the only center of treatment in eastern Uttar Pradesh was the BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur. Nothing could be said when that too would stop. There were neither enough doctors nor medicines. Today BRD Medical College is providing health services very well. AIIMS has also opened in Gorakhpur for the medical facilities of the people of Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Simultaneously, new medical colleges are serving at Deoria, Siddharthnagar and Basti. The construction of medical college in Kushinagar is going on and approval has been given to set up a medical college at Maharajganj.

Encephalitis will end forever in a year or two
On this occasion, CM Yogi mentioned the power of inter-departmental coordination and collectivism on the prevention of communicable diseases and said that on the basis of this power, Uttar Pradesh has been successful in giving the best model of corona control under the guidance of PM Modi. Not only this, on the strength of inter-departmental coordination and team work, from 1977 to 2017 in eastern Uttar Pradesh, encephalitis, which has affected fifty thousand innocent children prematurely, has been cracked down. He said that 40 years of encephalitis could not be eradicated, there were no resources for its treatment. But, the central and state government together have succeeded in eradicating encephalitis in just four years. Meningitis is now nominal. With a little vigilance and collective effort, encephalitis will be eradicated forever in the next one or two years.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that how a sensitive government works, everyone in Uttar Pradesh has seen during the Corona period. Appreciating the service spirit and teamwork of Corona Warriors during the pandemic, he said that till now 30 crore doses of vaccine have been made available in Uttar Pradesh. Along with free test, treatment and vaccine, the government of double engine also gave double dose of ration every month to every needy. All these works are progressing continuously.

The Chief Minister also appealed to the people to join the Communicable Disease Control Campaign, TB and Filariasis Liberation Campaign. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi always says that prevention is the best way to stay away from diseases. Even if the disease does occur, instead of hiding it, it needs to be treated on time. CM Yogi said that the target has been set to make the world TB free by 2030 whereas PM Modi has set a target of 2025 for this. Contribute to the identification and treatment of general TB patients. TB patients are also given a nutritional allowance of Rs 500 per month by the government.
Every Sunday the gift of health, consultation, investigation, medicine all free
CM Yogi said that the Jan Arogya Mela starting from today will be held every Sunday at all the primary health centers of the state. People will get the gift of health through free medical consultations, free tests and free medicines at the Mela. The Arogya Mela was started in 2020 itself but had to be postponed due to corona infection. It is launching once again. Its objective is to make the benefit of medical services to all the people without discrimination. Publicity of the government’s health schemes will be spread in the fair and health awareness will be increased among the people. He said that those people whose health cards are not made, they should take advantage of it by getting it made. On the occasion of inauguration of Arogya Mela, the Chief Minister distributed certificates to the beneficiaries of various schemes and also provided kits to the patients of filariasis. On this occasion, MLAs Fateh Bahadur Singh, Mahendra Pal Singh, Pradeep Shukla, BJP regional president Dr. Dharmendra Singh etc. were also present.
