Information about a 10-year-old boy from Gangapur Road complex being infected with Omicron has come to light. The news has created panic in the city. But the special thing is that this child does not have any symptoms and his condition is stable.
Earlier, Omicron patients have been found in districts adjoining Nashik like Pune, Thane, Aurangabad, Nagar. But till now Nashik was untouched by it. The district administration along with the Municipal Health Department has become alert after Omicron was confirmed in the report of the concerned teenager on Wednesday evening. Along with the administrative level, the Health Department has started emphasizing on various measures.

Giving information on this matter, District Magistrate Suraj Mandhare said that samples of some suspects from Nashik have been sent to the National Infection Lab, Pune for genome sequencing. In these samples, information has been found to be found infected. But the citizens did not panic. This infection does not spread, so it is necessary to follow the corona rules. Getting yourself vaccinated is most important.
Parents infected but stable
On December 18, the parents of this child were first infected with Corona. After this, on December 19, after getting this boy tested, he was also found infected. The concerned private lab had sent the sample of this child for genome sequencing for random testing. It took 12 days to get his report. The boy’s report has confirmed him to be Omicron. Samples of his parents and related people will be sent for genome sequencing. This information has been given by Dr. Bapusaheb Nagargoje, Superintendent of Municipal Health Department.

For the last 10 days, the child was being treated by his parents at home. But after receiving the report of the child, he has been isolated in a private hospital. The health department has got relief as his condition is stable. But the health system of the district has become alert regarding those who had corona earlier.
