Animal husbandry is an important source of income of farmers. In order to ensure that farmers do not face any financial problem during animal husbandry, the government provides Pashu Kisan Credit Card Scheme 2020. Through this, farmers are being provided loans without guarantee. Farmers credit cards will be issued to farmers according to the number of animals under this scheme.
Loan amount of Rs 40,783 is given for cows, Rs 60,249 for buffalo, Rs 4063 for sheep and goat, Rs 16,337 for pig and Rs 720 for poultry farming. In this scheme separate loan is given for purchasing buffalo, cow, goat etc. The Haryana government is providing this loan. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Kisan Credit Card is provided to the beneficiaries.
Pashu Kisan Credit Card Scheme
Like the Kisan Credit Card, the Haryana Government has introduced the Pashu Kisan Credit Card Yojana. Under this, about 6 lakh cattle herders will be issued this card. On this card, eligible persons will be able to get loans up to Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand without any guarantee. State Agriculture Minister JP Dalal has given information regarding this scheme. According to the information coming out, till now, the forms of 1 lakh 40 thousand cattle herders have been filled. Under this scheme, the cattle rearers of the state can get the cattle farmers credit card as per their wish. Cattlemen will be given a loan of 40 thousand 783 rupees for a cow and 60 thousand 249 rupees for buffalo.

All the cattle or farmers of the state who want to get a livestock credit card will have to get KYC (Know Your Customer) from their bank. For KYC, farmers have to provide Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID card and passport size photo.
How to apply for Pashu Kisan Credit Card Yojana
If you want to get this card, go to the bank first. You should go to the bank that issues these cards. After this, submit KYC. Fill the form and attach the necessary documents together and freeze them. After verification of the application forms, you will be issued a card.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said that farmers of the state can e-contract their produce with any person or bank under contract farming. They will not be required to keep the land with the bank on loan for crop loans. Simultaneously, CM Khattar said that steps are being taken continuously to achieve PM Modi’s goal of doubling farmers’ income by the year 2022. The Haryana government has implemented the system of animal farmer credit cards on the same lines. All farmers can take animal farmer credit card. This scheme will not only connect more people but will also encourage the animal husbandry business.
