Indira Gandhi Widow Pension Scheme
In order to make widow women live better, the Central Government has launched the Indira Gandhi Widow Pension Scheme. Those women will get the benefit of this scheme of the centre, their husband has died and the age of the woman is more than 40 years! Under Indira Gandhi Pension Scheme, widow women will be given a pension of 300 rupees per month! The benefit of this scheme will be available only to those women who have BPL ration card! If women are running any government job or any business, then those women will not be eligible to take advantage of this scheme!
Maharashtra Widow Pension Scheme (Maharashtra Vidhwa Pension Yojana)
The Maharashtra Government has started this Rs 600 Widow Women Pension Scheme every month! Maharashtra government has included widow women, who are between the age of 18 to 65 years. If the widow woman has minor children in her family, then the woman will get Rs. 900 per month as pension amount. And when those children become adults, the woman will get only 600 rupees per month as pension amount! Maharashtra Widow Pension Scheme of Maharashtra Government will only benefit widow women of poor family! According to the government rules, women whose annual family income will be more than Rs 21000! Those women will not be eligible for pension under this scheme!
Rajasthan Vidhwa Pension Yojana
The Rajasthan government has decided to provide financial assistance to the widows for good living. The government will give this financial assistance to widow women as pension! The state government has classified the pension amount on the basis of age in this pension scheme! The state government has classified pension as follows –

Widow women have to apply for the benefits of these widow pension schemes! While applying for these schemes, the applicant must have the necessary documents!
