What is PM Kisan Yojana
The Central Government has introduced a scheme named Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, 6000 rupees are being given to eligible farmers in 3 installments every year. For this, all the information has been given on the government website pmkisan.gov.in. Under this scheme till now farmers have got 7 installments of 2000 rupees. Now the 8th installment is coming. The last time on December 25, 2020, about 18000 crore rupees were transferred to the account of 9 crore farmers. Before this, about 1.5 lakh crore rupees had been sent to the accounts of farmers, including 7 installments.
What to do if the installment has not come?
After the application, if the name of a beneficiary has been uploaded by the State / UT Government on the PM Farmer’s portal, even if the installment is not received, it will not suffer. Because of which the installment has been stopped, it will be sent to the entire DU account after rectifying the mistake. But if for some reason the name of the farmer is rejected by the government, then he will not be eligible. There can be many reasons for delay in installment, such as giving wrong name, address or bank account information in registration. It is important to improve it. After going to pmkisan.gov.in and clicking on the Farmer’s Corner, click on Beneficiary Status. After which the option of Aadhaar number, account number and phone number will appear there. Here you can see whether your information is correct or not.
