Wardha, Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjeevani Yojana has been started in collaboration with the State Government and the World Bank. Under the scheme, 50 to 100 percent subsidy is given to the farmers. 125 villages of the district have been included in the scheme. So far, a grant of Rs 70 crore has been distributed to the eligible farmers. Krishi Sanjeevani being the most subsidized scheme, District Magistrate Prerna Deshbhratar has given instructions to the concerned officers to include the farmers in the scheme.
District Collector reviewed Krishi Sanjeevani Yojana. On this occasion, District Agriculture Superintendent Anil Ingle, Project Director of Atma Dr. Vidya Mankar, District Leading Bank Manager Vaibhav Lahane, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer Ajay Raut, NABARD District Manager Manager Pravin Mulay and officials of various departments were present.
22 thousand 500 farmers included in the scheme
Villages have been selected for the scheme in three phases. 125 villages have been included in 65 villages. Under the scheme, farmers will be given plantation, fruit orchards, shadenet houses, poly houses, sowing of vegetable crops, goat and poultry, silk industry, beekeeping, fisheries, agro-based industries, earthworm manure and Nadep compost production units, tractors, power tillers, Grants are given for self-propelled machinery, fruit production machinery, crop protector material, sowing equipment.
22 thousand 500 farmers of selected villages have been included in the scheme. Gram Sanjeevani Samiti has been established at the Gram Panchayat level. The grant of the eligible farmer is directly deposited in his bank account. District Magistrate Prerna Deshbhratar gave instructions to provide the benefits of the scheme to the farmers by reaching the information of the scheme.
