Pimpri: The work of 792 affordable houses for common citizens in Sector No. 30 and 32 of Walhekarwadi of Pimpri-Chinchwad is being started by PMRDA. The project work has not been completed even after completion of six years period. For this, Kailash Barne, a faction leader of the independents of the Municipal Corporation, has complained of taking action against the Careless Officer and the contractor.
In this context, he has written a letter to the commissioner of PMRDA, Suhas Diwas. It has been said that to complete the work of Gharkul project, Ellora Construction Company of Aurangabad has been given a work of 65 crores 82 lakhs. The work order for the work of this scheme was given on 7 January 2016. The period to complete it was three and a half years. Accordingly, the period of work ended on 6 July 2019. Two and a half years have passed since this period ended, but the project work is still incomplete.

Meanwhile, according to the PMRDA administration, the contractor has been fined Rs 10,000 per day for the long pending project of Walhekarwadi. Now this plan is nearing completion. Only STP plant work is in progress. The scheme work will be completed in the next three months and the draw process will start for the citizens. The project work is expected to be completed by March.
