Ahmednagar: 27 crore for water supply scheme for Kolhewadi village of Sangamner Tehsil under Jal Jeevan Mission Scheme due to the continuous efforts of Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat. 63 lakh fund has been approved. This information was given by Indrajit Thorat, operator of Thorat sugar mill and Dattatray Khule, sarpanch of Kolhewadi.
Thorat informed that the Revenue Minister Thorat has effectively implemented various schemes for the development of each and every village of Sangamner Tehsil. Various regional water supply schemes have been implemented including Tehsil’s Nimon, Talegaon, Rajapur, Panodi, Dhandarphal. The population of Kolhewadi village is high. With a view to providing clean and adequate water to the people of the village, the village panchayat and village workers have repeatedly followed up with the Revenue Minister Thorat and Yashodhan Public Relations Office.

Revenue Minister Thorat raised the issue in the cabinet and provided a fund of Rs 27 crore 63 lakh for water supply scheme for Kolhewadi under Jaljeevan Mission scheme. State Water Supply Minister Gulabrao Patil handed over the letter of administrative approval of the scheme to Revenue Minister Bolasaheb Thorat. Milk Development Minister Sunil Kedar was also present on the occasion. With the availability of funds, the work of Kolhewadi water supply scheme will start soon. Representatives of various organizations of Kolhewadi, villagers, youth circles and workers have expressed their gratitude towards Revenue Minister Thorat.
