On Thursday, the Sensex and Nifty 50 (Nifty 500) have touched new highs. Sensex closed at 61,305 point, while Nifty reached 18338. The stocks which saw a tremendous rally included HDFC Bank, Power Grid Corporation of India, State Bank of India, Sun Pharma, NTPC. These stocks touched their 52-week peak. SBI, Sun Pharma, Power Grid and ITC crossed their yesterday’s highs. A total of 324 stocks touched their 52-week peak on Thursday (14 October 2021). The stocks whose prices touched their 52-week peak include Apollo Pipes, Dixon Technologies.

Divis Laboratories, DLF, Endurance Technologies, Federal Bank Godrej Properties Grasim, Hindalco Industries, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL), Pidilite Industries Tata Motors, Tata Shares of Power, Trident, UBL, Voltas and Wipro also touched their 52-week peak.
39 stocks on BSE-200 were trading at their peak of 52 weeks at 2 pm. These included Bata India, Canara Bank, Hindustan Zinc, Indian Hotel Indian Hotel, IRCTC, JSW Energy, NHPC, NTPC, Oberoi Realty, Union Bank of India and Vedant.

159 stocks touched a new 52-week high on the NSE. However, in this 5 stocks also touched a 52-week low. Stocks that hit a 52-week high include Amrutanjan Health Care, Arvind, BEML, Borosil Century Century Plyboards (India), Cosmo Films, Cyient, DB Realty, Delta Manufacturing and National Aluminum Company.
The five stocks that fell to 52-week lows are Aero Lam, Artemis Medicare Services, Euro India, Fresh Foods, Pashupati Acrilon and Marin Electricals (India).
