Pimpri: The budget for 2022-23 of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation was presented before the Standing Committee by the administration on 18 February. In this budget, the Standing Committee presented sub-suggestions worth Rs.885.66 crore. After this, the budget has been approved and sent to the general assembly for final recognition. It has been recommended from the general body that Rs 25 lakh should be provided every year to all the corporators for essential works in their wards.
Giving this information, Standing Committee Chairman Ed. Nitin Landge said that in this budget, there has been recommendation by sub-suggestions for increase and decrease. In the revised budget of 2021-22, more than 106 crore 29 lakh development works have been recommended for 247 works. At the same time, in the budget of 2022-23, more than Rs 885 crore 66 lakh has been recommended for 275 development works. In addition, Rs 66 crore and Rs 87 lakh have been recommended for new 67 development works.

Press building should be constructed in Vallabhnagar
Ed. Landge said that increasing urbanization has also led to an increase in the number of various media representatives in the city. It has also been recommended to the General Assembly that a well equipped press building be constructed at Vallabhnagar on the Pune-Mumbai Highway for these representatives. With this budget, Pimpri-Chinchwad will be internationally known as a clean and beautiful city, this budget is all inclusive.
