In the budget, a demand of Rs 460 crore has been made from Thane Municipal Corporation for revenue and investment. Emphasis has been placed on boosting the earnings of the financially stressed TMT. In this regard, CNG pump will be started by TMT administration and common vehicle holders will be able to fill gas in their vehicles there. Presently TMT has one CNG station which will be started for common people. TMT will apply to Mahanagar Gas Limited to start more CNG pumps and all the pumps will be open to the general public. In such a situation, in view of the large number of CNG vehicles, there will be an increase in the income of TMT as commission.

Out of this, 124 crore 44 lakh is expected to be received from Thane Municipal Corporation as grant.
Looking at the population of the city, 759 buses are needed
