In a program organized on self-reliant economy (Aatmanirbhar Arthvyavastha), he said that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made such necessary provisions in the budget which will take the country towards modernity. He said that his government has taken such decisions in the last seven years, due to which the country’s economy is progressing continuously.
PM Modi counted the achievements of his government
- In the year 2013-14, India’s export was Rs 2.85 lakh crore, which has now increased to around Rs 4.70 lakh crore.
- Now water from tap has started reaching about 9 crore rural households, out of which more than 5 crore water connections have been given under Jal Jeevan Mission in the last two years. It has been announced in the budget that this year about 4 crore rural households will be given water connections.

- The picture of Bundelkhand region of the state is about to change.
- Houses were provided to the poor and most of the houses are in the name of women i.e. women were made the mistress of the house.
- In the budget, it has been announced to start aspirational blocks campaign in the aspirational districts with the cooperation of the states. The people of the lower strata of the society will also be strengthened by this campaign.
- The villages on the border of the country will be developed. Electricity, water and other essential facilities will be provided in these villages.

- Another big announcement has been made in the budget for the security of the country – the mountain project. In this, modern connectivity and modern infrastructure will be expanded in the Himalayan regions. With this, apart from the Defense Force, tourists and devotees will also be able to travel to and from the mountains. This will benefit the people of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Leh-Ladakh and North-East.
- Modernizing agriculture is the need of the hour and in such a budget, big steps have been taken in this budget to make technology use and chemical free in agriculture.
- In this year’s budget, a provision of Rs 68 thousand crore has been made under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, which is more than last year. About 11 crore farmers of the country will benefit from this. Railways will also make necessary provisions to benefit small farmers.
- The budget of PM Gram Sevak Yojana has been increased by 36 percent.
- The budget of sports has increased three times in the last seven years, which will benefit the youth.
- Those who have Sukanya Samriddhi account and PPF account in the post office, they also do not need to go to the post office to deposit their installment and now they will be able to transfer online directly from their bank account.
- In 2013-14, the public investment was only Rs 1.87 lakh crore, whereas this year it has been fixed at Rs 7.5 lakh crore in the budget, which means that the public investment has increased almost four times.
- A provision of Rs 1.5 lakh crore subsidy has been made on fertilizers. A provision of 80 thousand crore rupees was made in the last budget, but due to Corona, the international prices increased and the government had to spend 60 thousand crore rupees more.
- In 2014, there were 90 thousand km of national highways in the country and in the last seven years 50 thousand km of highways have been increased. Thousands of km of new national highways will be constructed under PM Gatishakti.
- Multimodal Logistics Parks will be set up at 4 places in the country. Multimodal Logistics Facilities 100 PM Gatishakti Cargo Terminals will be developed. This will reduce the time taken to transport anything for industries, trade and will help in increasing exports.
