Kitchen budget messed up due to Modi government’s policies, agitation in Warora against Ujjwala gas price hike
Warora, By showing the dream of good days, the Modi government at the Center has made the lives of ordinary citizens difficult. The budget of women’s kitchens has been disturbed due to the increase in the price of LPG along with petrol, diesel.
With the reduction of Ujjwala gas subsidy, the time has come for women to leave the gas and cook the kitchen on the stove again. Against this, an agitation was organized on behalf of Mahila Congress under the leadership of MLA and State Women’s Vice President Pratibha Dhanorkar in Ambedkar Chowk.
On this occasion, the Modi government at the Center was banned by returning the gas cylinders of the Ujjwala scheme. MLA Dhanorkar was speaking in this program. City Congress President Dipali Mate, Vice President Meena Rahate, Councilor Chandrakala Chimurkar, Shiromani Swamy, Pratima Jogi, Yashod Khamankar Priya Bhoyar, Ujjwal There etc. were present in the movement. The MLA further said that by increasing the inflation, the central government has tried to obstruct the women’s festival of Makar Sankranti.
Rising fuel prices have pushed up the prices of essential commodities. Prime Minister Modi campaigned fiercely by announcing free gas to women through the Ujjwala scheme. But now the price of gas cylinder has increased so much that women are not able to fill the gas cylinder.
Most of the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme have now switched off the cylinders and the women are again cooking on the stove. During the Modi government, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased 69 times, not once. Under the leadership of MLA Pratibha Dhanorkar, the central government opposed the price hike. A large number of women were present during this.
