Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday termed the Union Budget 2022-23 as “disappointing” and said it has nothing for common people. In a tweet made in Hindi, the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that people had “high expectations” from the Union Budget during the Corona period, but it did not cost the common people or the price of rice. there’s nothing to do.
Kejriwal said, “In the Corona era, people had high expectations from the budget. The budget has disappointed the people. There is nothing in the budget for the general public. There is nothing to reduce inflation.”
On the other hand, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has also commented negatively on the budget presented by the government in Parliament. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday, February 1, said the Union Budget 2022 was “directionless”, “anti-poor” and “anti-farmer”, with nothing but deception for the common man.
The Congress leader said the budget has failed to tackle the problems of inflation and unemployment.
“A lot of things were expected from the Union Budget 2022 as the country will complete 75 years of its independence this year and will infuse enthusiasm among the farmers, traders and poor and middle class society of the country,” Baghel said in a statement.

“However, this budget will only exacerbate inequality and leave the largest segment of our population vulnerable and dependent on handouts,” said Baghel.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for 2022-23 on February 1, with a focus on fast-tracking recovery, providing opportunities to businesses and creating 60 lakh new jobs. Proposals include agriculture, healthcare, small business and infrastructure.
Baghel further said, “This is a directionless, anti-poor, anti-farmer budget. This is nothing but cheating with the general public. The government should first talk about last year’s budget announcements with proper facts and figures. Budget should not become an activity of mere announcements. Where are the 100 smart cities which were announced under the government’s mega plan? Has the farmer’s income doubled?”
Baghel also said that there has been no change in the personal income tax slabs. “This budget is not for the middle class. This is the most adverse decision of the central government.”
