Researchers at Chinguha University, Beijing, China’s capital, have given rise to a new concept of in-city in vivo bioprinting. Along with this, he has designed a micro-robot, which enters the body through an endoscope to repair tissues.
These scientists are said to have tested the microrobot and delivery system with an endoscope to mimic the biological model of the human stomach and the insertion and bioprinting operation. They performed a bioprinter test in a cell culture dish, aimed at finding out how effective this method was in healing cells and wounds.
Tests showed that the printed cells persisted at high viability and stable proliferation, which also indicated good biological function of the cells in the printed tissue.
According to Chinese researcher Shwi Thaw involved in this research, research has verified the feasibility of this concept for the treatment of gastric wall injuries and created a wide potential for healing various types of wounds inside the body without major surgery.
