Earlier this year, Samsung announced plans to integrate the NFT function into its new series of TVs. The company had said that it is introducing the first TV screen based NFT explorer and marketplace aggregator. This will give the creators an opportunity to share their art and potential buyers will be able to see it before buying the NFT. This will inform the buyers about the NFT and will also show the associated blockchain metadata.
Nifty Gateway has said in a press release that with the technology of Samsung and Nifty Gateway, customers will be able to browse NFT easily. In addition, they will get access to over 6,000 art pieces by emerging and popular artists. This NFT platform will be integrated into Samsung’s premium TVs. These will include QLED and Neo QLED televisions.
However, Samsung did not specify which NFT platforms and marketplaces it would add later. The company says that these smart televisions will not make any change in the quality of the image and it will not harm the creator of NFT. The TV will have a calibration feature that will automatically adjust the display settings to the specifications set by the creator. This will preserve the original image quality of the NFT. This feature will be similar to Dolby Vision and Netflix Calibrated Mode. People’s interest in the NFT segment has increased in recent months and due to this many companies are now launching features related to it.
