NEET UG 2021 Exam Date: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG 2021) for admission to undergraduate medical courses across the country will be conducted on September 12 this year. On Monday, this was announced by the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The application process for the exam will begin on Tuesday, July 13 at 5 PM. The application forms for the examination will be filled through the website of NTA i.e. National Testing Agency.
Dharmendra Pradhan has told that this year the government has decided to increase the number of cities where NEET-UG examination is to be conducted, keeping in mind the social distancing in view of the corona epidemic. Last year the exam was conducted in 155 cities, but this time it has been decided to conduct it in 198 cities. Pradhan told that this year the number of examination centers will also be more than last year. Last year i.e. in 2020, this exam was conducted at 3862 centers.
Giving information through Twitter, Dharmendra Pradhan also said that face-masks will be provided to the students at all the examination centers to follow the COVID-19 protocol. Apart from this, separate timings will be fixed for entering and exiting the examination center to avoid the crowd. Along with this, attention will also be given to contactless registration, sanitization and keeping adequate distance between seats.
The detailed dates of the examination will be announced on the NTA website neet.nta.nic.in. According to the information revealed so far, no significant changes have been made in the NEET 2021 syllabus. NTA NEET 2021 admit card will be issued a few days before the exam in online mode. Last year, a total of 15.97 lakh candidates had registered for this exam.
Through the NEET-UG examination 2021 to be held for admission in medical courses, 83,075 seats for MBBS, 26,949 for BDS, 52,720 for AYUSH and 525 for veterinary seats are expected to be filled. Admission for 1899 MBBS seats in AIIMS will also be available through NEET UG 2021 examination.
