JEE Main Result 2021: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Examination on Monday. A total of 6.52 lakhs (6,52,627) candidates who have given paper 1 can check their results through the official websites – nta.ac.in, ntaresults.nic.in, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Experts believe that this year the cutoff for JEE Main will be more than 90 percent.
How to check result?
- Step 1: First go to the official websites nta.ac.in, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Step 2: Then, click on the view result / score card link.
- Step 3: JEE Main 2021 application number and date of birth will have to be entered.
- Step 4: NTA JEE main result will be displayed on the screen.
- Step 5: Download the JEE Main 2021 result.
- Step 6: Keep a printout for future.
From this year, this exam will be done four times – February, March, April and May. The first session of the examination took place from 23 to 26 February 2021. The results of the examination will be announced within four to five days from the last date of examination.
Exam in 13 languages
The National Testing Agency has decided that there will be a total of 90 questions in the exam, out of which students will have to solve any 75 questions. That is, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics have to be done in 25 out of 30 questions for each section. Till this year, students did not have a choice of questions. In the remaining 15 questions, no negative marking will also be done. Merit list / ranking will be prepared on the student’s best score.
Looking at the new education policy, the JEE (Mains) 2021 exam is being held in 13 languages. These are Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Education Minister Nishank said that the examination will be in computer-based test mode, while B.Arch exam will be taken in offline mode.

The format of the examination paper is being changed according to the school board, who had reduced the syllabus of 11th and 12th and some had not done so. For example, Kerala has not cut its high school syllabus, but CBSE has done. Therefore, it is necessary to cover both in JEE Main. Therefore, it was decided that students have to choose 75 out of 90 questions.
