IOCL Recruitment 2020: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced appointment for 436 vacancies. These include the posts of both non-technical apprentices and technical apprentices. Selection will be through written examination which is expected to be online. Students who want to apply can visit the IOCL official website iocl.com.
The application process for this job has started since November 23 and is continuing. The last date to apply is 19 December.
Age Range
Applicants must be over 18 years of age. The maximum age to apply for the job is 24 years. However, concessions will be available for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Divyang applicants as per government rules. Age will be seen as on 30 November 2020.
Educational Qualifications
Those applying, must have a three-year diploma or pass from class 12 and an ITI certificate. Educational qualification may vary. For this, you can check by visiting the website iocl.com.
Exam pattern
There will be a written test for the selection of IOCL Apprentice. It will have 100 optional questions (MCQs) which will be in both Hindi and English languages. The duration for the exam will be 90 minutes and the cutoff required for selection will be 40 percent. For SC, ST, OBC and differently-abled applicants, the cut-off will be 35 per cent.
test date
The online exam date is 3 January 2021. Those who will be selected for Trade Apprentice and Data Entry Operator will be hired for a period of 15 months. Apart from this, others will be kept for 12 months.
Earlier, Indian Oil announced the appointment of Engineer and Officer. This appointment will be done through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 score. This examination is to be held on 5,6,7,12 and on 13 and 14 February. Students will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE score. After that the candidate will have to go through group discussion, group task and personal interview.
