At least 98% candidates showing for the CUET shall be allotted the examination centres within the metropolis of their selection, Jagadesh Kumar, chairman, University Grants Commission satted. The NTA launched the admit playing cards for CUET-UG on Monday. “Over 14 lakh candidates have registered for the exam which will be conducted across 500 cities. It is a mammoth task and NTA is a professional exam conducting body. The students should not get worried,” Kumar stated.
Kumar had in March introduced that CUET scores, and never 12 grade marks, could be necessary for admission to 45 central universities and that the central universities can repair their minimal eligibility standards. He additional clarified that college students from state boards won’t be at a drawback within the new system and the examination won’t give a push to the teaching tradition.
