Hailing the clear chit given by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood famous person Shah Rukh Khan, within the ‘drugs on cruise’ case, the ruling NCP in Maharashtra on Friday requested who can be held liable for the trauma he suffered.
It additionally stated that the then zonal director of the NCB, Sameer Wankhede, was answerable to the folks of this nation.
Ally Congress alleged that all the case was a part of a “larger conspiracy” to topple the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) authorities, through which it shares energy with the Shiv Sena and NCP.
The NCB on Friday gave a clear chit to Aryan Khan within the October 2021 ‘drugs on cruise’ case through which he was arrested final 12 months. Officials of the NCB, which filed its chargesheet in a Mumbai court docket, stated Aryan Khan and 5 others had not been named as a result of “lack of sufficient evidence”.
Asserting that its Special Investigation Team (SIT) carried out its probe in an “objective manner”, the federal anti-drugs company stated in a press release in Delhi that “the touchstone of the principle of proof beyond reasonable doubt has been applied”.
Reacting to the event, NCP spokesman Clyde Crasto stated, “If Aryan Khan was clean, why was he tainted? What was the motive? Who will be held responsible for the trauma this young man suffered? Many questions arise.” Congress spokesperson Atul Londhe stated reality has finally prevailed. “We were saying from day one that the case was part of a larger conspiracy to destablise the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government (of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress),” he stated.
NCP’s chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase stated the NCB giving a clear chit to Aryan Khan proves that Maharashtra minister and NCP chief Nawab Malik was proper when he had stated that the case was faux.
Malik had criticised the way in which raids have been carried out and witnesses recognized, he stated.
“Whatever Malik said holds ground. Witnesses had claimed that they were made to sign on blank papers and there were financial transactions involved. Sameer Wankhede is answerable to the people of this country,” he stated.
The writing on the wall could be very clear that the objections raised by NCP minister Nawab Malik relating to the way in which all the raid was carried out and collection of witnesses having shut affinity with the BJP was legitimate, Tapase alleged.
“Nawab Malik raised serious questions over the functioning and character of Sameer Wankhede. We have always maintained that the NCB is a very credible organisation having impeccable track record, but the way things were happening in the recent times put question marks on the conduct of the organisation,” Tapase stated.
Malik made severe allegations in opposition to Wankhede, thereby drawing the ire of some highly effective folks in Delhi. Today, Malik is paying a value for talking the reality, he added.
Aryan Khan was arrested within the case by the NCB on October 3 final 12 months and launched from jail later that month after being granted bail. An NCB group led by Wankhede had carried out a raid on the cruise ship, after which 20 individuals, together with Aryan Khan, have been arrested.
