The company’s Conso profit declined 40 per cent year-on-year to Rs 178 million in the December quarter from Rs 295 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company’s revenue has increased by 9 percent to Rs 459 crore.

Rating agency CRISIL has upgraded the ratings of non-convertible debentures and long-term bank facilities of the company from ‘AA/Positive’ to ‘AA+/Stable’ due to consistent strong profits and sustainable improvement.
Birla Corporation
Birla Corporation has raised funds through NCDs. The company has raised Rs 150 crore by approving allotment of 1,500 NCDs of Rs 10 lakh each on private placement basis. The stock has lost 27 per cent in the last one month.
