Nifty slipped below 17700 in early trade amid weak signals from Asian markets and selling in banking and pharma stocks kept the market under pressure. Talking about individual stocks, today the focus will be on companies like Reliance, Adani Enterprises, HUL, Vodafone Idea, Havells India, HDFC India, PNB Housing Finance, SBI Life Insurance, PVR and ICICI Bank. On the other hand, experts have bet on Astral Poly Technique, Navin Florin and Shriram Transport Finance Company in intra-day.

Focus on these stocks today
- Reliance: Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance will announce the December 2021 quarter results today. Analysts expect the company’s profit and revenue to increase on the back of refining, petrochemicals and retail performance. According to analysts, better results may come compared to the September 2021 quarter.
- Adani Enterprises: The IPO of Adani Wilmar, a joint venture between Adani Enterprises and Wilmar International, which sells edible oil under the Fortune brand name, is set to open next week. This IPO will be open for subscription from January 27-31. For the issue, the company has fixed a price band of Rs 218-230 for an IPO of Rs 3600 crore. Its shares can be listed on the exchange on February 8.
- THEIR: FMCG sector giant Hindustan Unilever reported standalone net profit of Rs 2243 crore in the December quarter, up 17 per cent year-on-year. The revenue of the company also increased from Rs 11862 crore to Rs 13092 crore.

- Vodafone Idea: Telecom sector giant Vodafone Idea lost 19 lakh subscribers in November 2021. This was the biggest drop in the number of subscribers in five months. The company lost 1.2 million subscribers in the villages in November. This was the 36th consecutive month that Vodafone Idea lost active subscribers. Last year in 2021, Vodafone Idea, which is facing financial crisis, added 1.4 million 4G users, in comparison, Bharti Airtel added 34 million and Reliance Jio added 20 million users.
- Havells India: Havells India’s consolidated net profit slipped 12.7 per cent year-on-year to Rs 305.82 crore in the previous quarter. However, the company’s revenue increased from Rs 3175.2 crore to Rs 3664.21 crore on an annual basis.
- HDFC Life: Insurance sector giant HDFC Life Insurance will announce the December 2021 quarter results today. Analysts estimate HDFC Life’s net premium income to grow by 20-22 per cent. Domestic brokerage house Motilal Oswal estimates that the net premium income may increase to Rs 11534.9 crore in the December 2021 quarter.
- PNB Housing Finance: In the December 2021 quarter, the company had a net profit (Profit After Tax) of Rs 651.96 crore and a net profit margin of 13.78 percent. At the same time, in the December 2021 quarter, the company’s gross NPA was 7.64 percent and net NPA was 4.87 percent.
- Results of these companies today: Today the results of many companies including Reliance, HDFC Life Insurance, SBI Life Insurance, JSW Steel, Bandhan Bank, CSB Bank, Hindustan Zinc, IDBI Bank, Vodafone Idea, PVR, Polycab India, Supriya Lifescience and Jyoti Labs will come.
- Tomorrow their results will come: On Saturday (January 22), the results of other companies including ICICI Bank, Vakrangee, Velcure Drugs and Pharma and Sharda Cropchem will be announced.

- NAVINFLUOR: In the price range of Rs 4,010- Rs 3,980, you can take a long position with a stop loss of Rs 3,930 at the target price of Rs 4,190.
- SRTRANSFIN: One can take long positions in the price range of Rs 1,212- Rs 1,204 with a target price of Rs 1,275 and a stop loss of Rs 1,169.
