Stocks in Focus: During trading today, the focus will be on stocks like Future Retail and Airtel.
Market Outlook: The market was bullish on both the trading days of the new year 2022 and now the market experts estimate that in the next one week it can touch the level of 18200. According to the chart, a bullish trend can be seen in the Nifty 50 index in the short term. Nagraj Shetty, Technical Research Analyst, HDFC Securities, says that Nifty may reach the level of 18200 within the next one week and it is getting immediate support at the level of 17650. Talking about individual stocks, today the focus will be on Future Retail, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, IDFC Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Bharti Airtel, Yes Bank, GAIL India and Dr Reddy.

- Future Retail: The Delhi High Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition seeking quashing of the hearing in Singapore’s arbitration center regarding the Future Retail-Amazon dispute. The petition has been filed in the Singapore Arbitration Center against the merger deal of Future Retail and Reliance Retail worth Rs 24,500 crore.
- Bank stocks: In the December 2021 quarter, the deposit base of HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, IDFC First Bank and Bank of Maharashtra grew by 10.5-26 per cent year-on-year. Apart from this, there was a double digit jump in their advances based on provisional data.
- Bharti Airtel: Airtel Payments Bank on Tuesday informed about being placed in the category of scheduled bank by the central bank RBI.
- Hindustan Unilever Ltd: The tussle between FMCG companies and traditional distributors doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Now distributors are going to stop selling HUL and Colgate Palmolive products from January 4 in Gujarat, Odisha, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu after Maharashtra.
- GAIL (India), ONGC: GAIL India on Tuesday informed about the completion of the process of acquisition of 26 per cent stake of insolvent declared Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services in ONGC Tripura Power Company (OTPC). OTPC is a special purpose vehicle set up by Oil and Natural Corporation (ONGC) to manufacture 726.6 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) at Palatana in Tripura.
- Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories: For the treatment of corona in the country, Dr Reddy Laboratories will launch capsules of Molflu (Molnupiravir) at a price of Rs 35. The cost of 40 capsules for 5 days will be Rs 1400 which will be affordable.
- Go Fashion India: SBI Funds Management increased its stake in Go Fashion India by 0.85 per cent on January 3 through open market transactions. After this purchase, SBI Funds Management’s stake in Go Fashion India has increased from 4.57 per cent to 5.43 per cent.

- AMBUJACEM: In the price range of Rs 387-384, you can take a long position with a target price of Rs 399 and a stop loss of Rs 381.
