Markets regulator SEBI has asked investors to link their PAN with Aadhaar from September 30, 2021 so that there is no problem in the processing of their investments in the securities market. SEBI, in a press release, has referred to the notification of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) dated February 13, which states that if PAN and Aadhaar are not linked by September 30, PAN will cease to function. . If there is no PAN then no transaction will be able to take place.
If the link is not there then the PAN will be useless
The CBDT, in a notification issued on February 13, 2020, had said that if the PAN issued till July 1, 2017 is not linked with Aadhaar, then the PAN card will become useless. SEBI has asked all companies to ensure that all PAN cards are linked with Aadhaar number before 30 September 2021. According to section 139AA of the Income Tax Act 1961, only people of Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya and NRIs and those above 80 years of age are exempted from this rule.

Link PAN with Aadhaar in this way
Click on https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal.
If you are not registered then register first. Your User ID will be your PAN.
Log in with your User ID and your date of birth will be the password.
After this POPUP will be done to link your PAN with Aadhaar. If POPUP does not happen, then you go to the profile settings of the menu bar and click on Link Aadhaar.
Here your name, date of birth, everything will be according to your PAN.
-Verify PAN information. If there is any mistake then link it after correcting it. But if all the information is correct then click on the Link Now button.
After this, a POPUP will be written that Aadhaar has been linked with PAN.
