Testing in just Rs.299.
RT-PCR testing: After the passing of the new wave of Corona, once again the traffic has increased. However, RT-PCR negative report is being demanded in many places. In such a situation, French company PathStore has started COVID-19 RT-PCR test in India for Rs 299. This will increase the reach of the company across the country. Pathstore said in a statement on Tuesday that the company’s very affordable RT-PCR test will help in operations in the tourism, industry and retail sectors.
Anusha Anusha, Global Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GeneStore, the parent company of Pathstore, said, “The biggest bottleneck in high quality COVID-19 treatment before the economically weaker sections of the society is cost.” Said that Pathstore will expand to all the major COVID-19 affected states during the next one to three months. The company will deploy over 2,000 medical representatives to collect RT-PCs and samples. The company has set up a large RT-PCR and Biosafety Level-3 Testing Lab in Gurugram. Here one lakh samples can be tested in a day.
RT-PCR test gives more accurate report
Two types of tests are done for COVID-19. First RT-PCR and second Rapid Antigen Test ie RAT. The positive report of both these tests shows that the person is infected with corona. RT-PCR is considered more accurate than RAT, so the report of RAT i.e. antigen test does not deny that a person cannot be infected with corona. However, this test has a role in measuring the condition of the initial symptoms. At the same time, RT-PCR is considered to be standard testing, whose negative report confirms that the person is not infected with corona.
