Royal Mail staff are to stage an extra 48-hour strike beginning on the finish of this month in a dispute over pay and situations.
Some 115,000 members of the Communication Workers Union (CWU) have been already making ready to stroll out on Thursday and Friday this week.
But they are going to now additionally strike for 48 hours on 30 September and 1 October.
