Customers who have taken a loan from HDFC Bank will now be able to deposit the loan installment at the nearest CSC (Common Service Center). HDFC Bank and CSC e-Governance Services India Limited on Thursday launched EMI Collection Services for Business Correspondents of CSC-HDFC Bank in the country. Through this, it will be easy for the customers to pay the installment and they can go to their nearest CSC and deposit the outstanding loan amount.
CSC-HDFC Bank Correspondent or Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) will be able to check the amount due on the system by matching the loan account with the registered phone number of the customer. After this, VLE will give the receipt of several amounts of collect to the customer and will deposit the amount in the prescribed form with the bank.
Regarding this partnership, Dr. Dinesh Tyagi, MD, CSC e-Governance Services India Limited said, “Once the facility of EMI collection is introduced by CSC, customers will not need to go to the bank branch and that EMI is deposited at their nearest CSC. Will be able to save your time. This will expand financial services for citizens located in rural and remote areas of the country.

According to Dinesh Luthra, National Head, CSC Channel, HDFC Bank, “This campaign will run with the social programs we are running, under which we are in the social pyramid with financial literacy, financial inclusion and income generation skills among the people at the bottom Are promoting. Under this campaign, CSC and HDFC Bank will use the services offered by the Business Correspondent to collect the outstanding loan amount / regular EMI taken by the customers. HDFC Bank will act as a deposit point for customers in areas such as Business Correspondent Auto Loan, Two-Wheeler Loan, Personal Loan, Business Loan and Sustainable Livelihoods Campaign.
