PGIM India Mutual Fund has raised Rs 578 crore from NFO of Small Cap Fund, which was open for applications between July 9 and July 23, 2021. The NFO received more than 37000 applications and was distributed by over 3000 participants. The Rs 578 crore that the company has raised from investors will be invested in different equities and small caps. So that investors can get maximum returns.
The investment objective of this scheme is to get better return on long term capital by investing mainly in small cap companies and equity related investment options. The fund will be managed by Aniruddha Naha (for equity investment), Kumaresh Ramakrishnan (for debt and money market investments) and Ravi Adukia (for foreign investment).

The fund will invest at least 65 per cent of the said fund in small cap companies. Efforts may be made to participate in the development of other equity and equity related schemes in the said scheme to build a good portfolio.

Investors are further requested that the fund house has made an investment in the ongoing offering of PGIM India Small Cap Fund by way of New/Additional Purchase, Switch In, Systematic Investment Plan, Systematic Transfer Plan and other facilities/special products under the scheme. 10 lakh per application/per installment can be offered from August, 2021 till further notice, has decided to limit the application. Actually long term investment is most beneficial to earn good returns from the market. In such a situation, SIP investment of mutual funds proves to be very effective.
