The Boston-based maker of the Harpoon household of beers has agreed to purchase Vermont-based Long Trail Brewing Co., bringing collectively two of New England’s most established craft brewers.
Under the phrases of the deal introduced Friday, Mass. Bay Brewing Co. will purchase the Long Trail, Otter Creek and Shed manufacturers and proceed to function the Long Trail Riverside Pub in Bridgewater Corners, Vt.
