Indian Railways is going to start a new train for the passengers. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will start operating ‘Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train’ from 29 August. It will cover places like Hyderabad-Ahmedabad-Nishklank Mahadev Shiva Temple-Amritsar-Jaipur and Statue of Unity. The total price of the tour package will start from Rs.11,340. The tour will start on 29 August and end on 10 September.
According to IRCTC Tourism, it will cover all the important tourist destinations in the country and it is one of the most economical tour packages. Booking of Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train is available online on IRCTC website https://www.irctc.co.in/. Booking can also be done through IRCTC Tourist Facilitation Centre, Zonal Offices and Regional Offices.

Boarding facility from these stations
Boarding points have been made for Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train, from where passengers can start their journey in this train. These stations are- Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, MGR Chennai Central, Nellore, Vijayawada. At the same time, the de-boarding points are – Vijayawada, Nellore, Perambur, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai.
What will be found in the package?
Under the package, there will be facility of train travel in slipper class. Night stay / Fresh up / Multi sharing Aadhaar facility in Dharamshala. Apart from tea or coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the morning, 1 liter of drinking water will be provided daily. The train will have tour escort and security in the train. Along with this, there will also be travel insurance for the passengers.
Note: Tourists are advised to keep a vaccination certificate or RT-PCR negative report (less than 48 hours before the date of travel).
