IDBI BANK NEW RULES : IDBI Bank customers will now get only 20 pages of check book every year for free. After this, customers will have to pay five rupees for each check. Till now, the bank has been giving check books of 60 checks free of cost to the customers in the first year of account opening. The bank gives a check book of 50 checks for the subsequent years. After that, for each cheque, the customer had to pay Rs. But according to the new rule, now the limit of free check has been increased to 20. After that it will not be free. The new rule will come into effect from 1 July (2021).
Cash deposit free facility rules also changed
Customers whose account is ‘Sabka Savings Account’ will not come under the purview of this rule. They will get unlimited free cheques. This is a zero balance account. It has been started to promote inclusive banking. The bank has reduced the free facility for cash deposit (home and non-home) from the existing 7 and 10 to 5-5 respectively in semi-urban and rural branches. Similarly, for the Super Savings Plus account, the free transactions in the savings account in semi-urban and rural areas have been reduced from the existing 10 and 12 to 8-8.

Locker rent discount rules also changed
Some changes have also been made in the locker rules. If the monthly average balance of the Jubilee Plus Senior Citizen account holder is less than 10 thousand then no discount will be available in locker rent. If the balance remains from Rs 10,000 to Rs 24,999 throughout the year, then 10% discount will be available in locker rent. If the monthly average balance is more than Rs 25,000, then this discount will be 15 percent. Not only this, in the case of locker rent, it is also for the Supershakti Woman account holder.
