Vaccination starts in Gurugram
The Russian vaccine Sputnik-V has started in Gurugram. This vaccine is being administered to the general public at the Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurugram. At the same time, the vaccine is taking time to reach various private hospitals in Delhi-NCR. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories of India is marketing this vaccine in this country.
Two different viruses have been used
Sputnik V vaccine is different from all vaccines. This is because two different viruses have been used in it. That is, it will take two different doses to make this vaccine effective. While this is not the case in other vaccines. It is believed that the delay is due to attempts to give both doses of the Sputnik V vaccine at the same time.
