    E-commerce companies have sold goods worth $ 3.1 billion in less than five days during their festive season sale.

    E-commerce companies have sold goods worth $ 3.1 billion in less than five days during their festive season sale. This has been estimated in a report released on Wednesday by RedSeer Consulting. Redseer had estimated first-round festival sales of Amazon, Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal to be $ 4 billion. This figure is 77 percent of Redseer’s estimate.

    Redseer said that from 15 to 19 October 2020, the online festival sale has started well. In about 4.5 days, e-commerce companies have sold products worth $ 3.1 billion or Rs 22,000 crore.

    Sale better this year than last year

    The report says that the first few days of online sales have been much better this year than last year. Redseer said that there are many reasons for online sales to be strong. One is getting cheaper goods online and the mobile phone category is performing quite well. Apart from this, demand from other categories of cities has been good. After the festive cell lockdown, there is an opportunity for brands / vendors to improve their position.

    Flipkart’s annual The Billion Days Sale has started on 16 October. It is ending on October 21. Myntra’s ‘Big Fashion Festival’ has been organized from 16 to 22 October. Amazon’s ‘Great Indian Festival’ sale has started on October 17 and will run for a month. Earlier, Amazon India said that 1.1 lakh sellers have received orders during the first 48 hours of the sale on its platform. However, no e-commerce company has given the figures for the orders received during the sale.

    Big discount on Flipkart and Amazon sale

    Let us know that there is a big discount on smartphones in Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale. In this, smartphones of all the top brands including Samsung, Realme, iPhone, Redmi, Oppo, Vivo are being available with great discounts. During the sale, 80 percent discount is being given on electronics and accessories. There will be a discount of 60 to 80 percent on the clothes, fashion products in SAIL. Flipkart sale has up to 80 percent discount on TV and large appliances. In Myntra’s cell, customers are getting big discounts of 50 to 80 percent.

    Up to 40 percent discount will be available on smartphones in Amazon’s cell. There is a 60 percent discount on mobile and electronics accessories in the cell. Amazon is offering up to 80 percent discount on fashion products in the cell.
