The United Kisan Morcha, a representative organization of 40 farmers’ organizations agitating against the three agricultural laws, has postponed its 29th tractor rally being taken out to demand legal status to MSP. The farmers were about to travel from tractor to Parliament in support of their demand on this day. United Kisan Morcha leader Darshanpal Singh said that the next meeting of the front will be held on December 4, in which the further strategy will be considered. He said that the farmers’ agitation would continue till their demands were met.
United Kisan Morcha said, FIR against farmers should be canceled
After Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar’s remarks on the demand for withdrawal of FIRs filed against farmers during the agitation, the farmer leader said that PM Modi should instruct states and railways to withdraw FIRs against farmers. Tomar had said that FIR is a state subject and he can withdraw it.

Farmer leaders said – the government should talk to us face to face
Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rajveer Singh Jadaun said that the government should sit in front of the farmers and talk to them to resolve the issue. He said, “Our protest will continue till the demand of our MSP is met. FIR was lodged against us. Many farmers were martyred. Then there was the matter of Lakhimpur Kheri. FIR against innocent farmers. Some were sent to jail. The government should talk about these issues. We do not agree with the announcements of the government. We do not believe in AIR. The government should try to find a respectable solution by sitting with the farmers. What we will decide next will be discussed in the 4th meeting of next month.
Agriculture Minister Tomar had said that the bill related to the withdrawal of agricultural laws would be placed on the table of the House on the very first day of the Parliament session. He said that the PM has announced to constitute a committee to make the MSP system more transparent and effective. He has said that farmers should end their agitation soon and return home.
