CBSE students will now be able to access their academic documents like duplicate marksheets, migration certificates from the in-house portal ‘DADS’. They will no longer have to go through the process of applying for such documents to the regional offices or send demand drafts. If a student’s mark sheet is lost or torn, he can get the duplicate copy of the mark sheet and other academic documents with the help of the in-house portal The New Duplicate Academic Document System (DADS).
According to CBSE, in view of the problems being caused by COVID-19, efforts are being made to provide this facility through ‘DADS’. Because these days it will be difficult for students to send applications and documents through post following the earlier process. But now you can apply for it online.

Digital certificates for CBSE exams held on or after 2017 can be obtained from Digilocker. They can get the certificate by logging in to this app. Students who have appeared for the examination in 2016 or earlier can apply for the session by entering their roll number, school code, e-mail id and mobile number in the admit card. There is a fee of Rs 100 for one document. Students who want to get it at home through speed post will have to pay this fee. Those who applied for the document can see the live status of the application process and dispatch details.
Students can take a digital copy of their document as well as a printed copy. 250 for documents up to five years. Rs 500 for a period of five to ten years and Rs 1000 for a copy of more than ten years.
