Central Government Employees APAR time line 2021: The central government has given very good news to the central employees. Central Government through SPARROW Portal for FY 2020-21 Annual performance for Group A, B and C officers of CSS (Central Secretariat Service), CSSS (Central Secretariat Stenographers Service) and CSCS (Central Secretariat Clerical Service) cadre The Timeline for Assessment Report (APAR) has been extended.
According to the official statement, the Department of Personal and Training (DoPT) has taken this decision due to adverse circumstances due to Corona epidemic. According to the office memorandum issued by the DoPT, the entire process such as distribution / online generation, recording and completion deadline has been extended under the APAR process for 2020-21.
APAR process to be completed by 31 December
According to the office memorandum issued by the DoPT, the entire APAR process will be completed by 31 December and after that it will be taken in the final record. In cases where the reporting and reviewing authorities are unable to record their comments within the stipulated time frame, the officer will be assessed based on their self-assessment and overall record if they have submitted their self-appraisal in stipulated time.

4 percent DA Hike estimates
Recently, the government’s utilization of government e-marketplace (GeM) portal for government procurement of goods and services will be shown in the Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APAR) of IAS and IPS officers. Government Ministries and Departments make online government purchases of various goods and services through this portal. Central workers get their salaries based on the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission and are now waiting for dearness allowance. It is estimated that up to 4 per cent of the basic salary of central personnel may get DA hike this time.
