India’s carbonated soft drink market may now see a new battle. Amul, the country’s largest dairy brand, has entered the carbonated soft drink market by launching the country’s first milk-based carbonated salts. According to Amul, Amul has created a carbonated drink with the addition of fruit juices and milk solids for the new generation. Amul brand Flavored Milk is a market leader in the field of beverages. They offer a wide range of flavoured milk, cold coffee, milkshakes, smoothies and cauldron milk, jaggery milk, honey milk, as well as immune-boosting turmeric milk, tulsi milk, ginger milk, Ashwagandha has an effective portfolio of milk and dairy-based mocktails as well as traditional drinks like buttermilk and lassi.

There will be big competition for brands like Pepsi-Coke
Currently, the carbonated soft drink market in India is dominated by brands like Pepsi and Coca-Cola. No major Indian brand has succeeded in this segment. Experts believe that the arrival of Amul will create great competition for these brands.

After launching two flavors in the Gujarat market this week, Amul will launch many variants like Cola, Cumin, Apple. Initially we have launched it in the Gujarat market and soon it will be launched in other parts of the country as well.

True Brands captured 10% of the market
“To strengthen our beverage portfolio, Amul launched a beverage with a blend of milk and real fruit juice under the ‘True’ brand in February 2019,” Sodhi said. The product is available in Mango, Orange, Lychee and Apple M4 flavors and has received a very good response in the market and captured 10% market share in the first quarter of its release. India’s first Celtzer, Amul True Celtzer is currently available in two flavors, Lemon and Orange. Its 200 ml stomach bottle costs Rs. 15 are retained.
