If you are a customer of the country’s largest insurance company Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), then the news is of your use. If your LIC policy has matured or you are looking to take a loan on your policy, then you have to fill the NEFT mandate form. If you do not do this, you will not be able to get the policy maturity money. Actually, LIC has stopped paying by check. The insurance company now transfers the money to the bank account of direct policyholders. In such a case, you should link your LIC policy to your bank account. Otherwise the claim money will get stuck.
According to LIC, correct and safe payment can be made from anywhere without any extra cost. All digital payments are free of any additional fees. For free e-services, customers of LIC can register on the portal on the company’s website.
Link bank account in this way with policy
The way to link LIC policy to a bank account is easy. Go to your nearest LIC office and fill the NEFT Mandate Form. With this form you attach a copy of the cancellation check or bank passbook and submit it. After a week your policy will be linked to your bank account. After this, any money received from LIC will come directly into your bank account.

Submit the policy maturity claim in any branch
LIC has given a big relief to those policyholders whose policy has matured. Policyholders of LIC can submit documents to claim the maturity of the policy by March 31 at any of the LIC offices near them across the country.
The insurance company has 113 divisional offices, 2,048 branches, 1,526 small offices across the country. Apart from this, it also has 74 customer zones where maturity claims forms of their policy will be accepted from the policyholders. In this, the form of claiming the policy taken from any branch can be submitted anywhere.
