Since the pandemic of Covid-19, all automobile manufacturers have been trying to reduce their expenses. But to reduce the expenses, a car company has found a way that is very circumspect. Yes, an Italian car company Stellantis has announced to reduce the toilets in its factory to cut costs. According to a Reuters report, the Italian carmaker has planned to reduce the toilets in its factories. The company has also implemented it in some factories in Italy.
Stellantis has been created after the merger of Fiat Krissler Automobile and PSA Group and its main objective is to conserve cash. The company has also decided to reduce toilets and cleaning services in its facilities in Italy.
It has been said in the report that the toilets in its Mirafiyori factory present in Turin have already been reduced. Regarding this, Reuters has confirmed this with a union member who said that now the employees are very concerned about it.
Apart from this, the company has also reduced the cleaning service at its ATESA plant by 35 percent due to which it has become a matter of concern for the people as such a step can be harmful in the Corona era when cleanliness is a priority for all. . Regarding this, a union leader said that he believes that all this is being done by the local management. However, it is not yet known what effect it will have on the production. But if seen, no company would like that there is a long line in the toilet bar.
Apart from all this, the company is also planning to take some more steps for cost-cutting which includes re-organizing the transport service and reducing the temperature inside the factory. Let me tell you that Stalantis manages many brands and also manages their expenses which include Alfa Romeo, Lancia, DS etc.
