Bs6 Yamaha Fz 25 has many great features
Yamaha Motor India Private Limited has announced the launch of the new BS6 FZ 25 MotoGP variant. The FZ 25 Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Edition (as the company likes to call it) will be available at dealerships by the end of this month for a price of Rs 1,36,800. The new edition is Rs 2000 costlier than the standard model and will later cost Rs 1,34,800.
Prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. As the name suggests, the bike gets the MotoGP-inspired treatment and the changes are limited to the visuals only. The new Yamaha FZ 25 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP variant gets the Yamaha Moto GP branding on the tank shrouds, fuel tank and side panels. In terms of powertrain, the bike gets the same 249-cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is good for producing 20 hp and 20.1 Nm of torque output.

The FZ 25 MotoGP variant gets the same bits as the standard model and includes a negative LCD instrument cluster, LED DRL, all-LED headlamps and side stand with engine cut-off switch. Speaking on the latest announcement, Motofumi Shitara, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies said that the spirit of The Call of the Blue is born out of Yamaha’s racing DNA. The bike weighs 153 kg and has a minimum ground clearance of 160 mm. The fuel tank capacity of this bike is 14 liters. In terms of safety, the bike gets dual-channel ABS with sidestand engine cut-off switch.
He said that this year, the brand’s performance in MotoGP has been exceptional and so far Yamaha is number one in all the three standings – Team, Constructor and Rider. Yamaha aims to bring the global racing excitement to the Indian roads and hence, the company is launching the FZ25 Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Edition for the Indian customers. He further added that the company will continue to introduce more exciting products as a part of its brand commitment to India.
