This is the reason that the month of June has been very good for all the companies and the sales of vehicles have also seen a great increase. If we talk about top 10 selling cars, then more and more cars of the country’s leading automaker Maruti Suzuki were involved in this and their sales have seen a tremendous increase. The sales of some of the company’s cars have seen an increase of 200 percent.
Maruti Suzuki’s 7-seater car Maruti Ertiga has become the best selling multi purpose vehicle (MPV) in the country. In June, the company has sold a total of 9,920 units, which is 200 percent more than the month of June last year. The company had sold only 3,306 units in June last year.
Maruti Ertiga Engine & Mileage
It is the best selling car in its segment which comes in a total of four variants which include LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. This car is available in both petrol and CNG variants. It has a 1.5-litre capacity engine that generates 105ps of power and 138Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 5 speed manual and 4 speed converter transmission gearbox.
Hybrid technology has been used in this car which improves its mileage. However, this technology is not available in CNG variants. If we talk about mileage, then its petrol manual variant gives a mileage of 19 kmpl and automatic variant 17.99 kmpl. On the other hand, if we talk about CNG variants, then the company claims that it gives mileage of up to 26.08 km per kg.
Features of Maruti Ertiga
Safety has also been taken care of in the Maruti Ertiga which includes dual front airbags, Anti Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), ISOFIX child seat anchors and reverse parking sensors. Keeping safety in mind, Maruti has also given ESP and hill hold in its automatic variant.
Apart from this, it gets projector headlamps, fog lamps, LED tail lamps, 15-inch wheels, 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and CarPlay and push-button start-stop. Along with this, it also gets ventilated front cup holder, rear AC vent with auto climate control and reverse parking camera. The price of this MPV is between Rs 7.81 lakh to Rs 10.59 lakh.
