For the first time in the country, Puncture Guard Technology is being used in car tyres. This technology has a specially engineered self-healing elastomer inner coat inside the tyres, which heals the punctures. The company plans to use this technology in four wheeler tyres.

No complaints of puncture up to 6 mm
Through this technique, if the tire is punctured, it will heal itself, that is, it will not need to be made. If the tires are punctured due to any nail or other sharp objects, then the punctures up to 6 mm in the tread area will be automatically corrected. In this way, through the puncture guard technology, as long as the tire will run on the roads without any problem for the rest of its life.

A special technique was introduced even two years ago
JK Tire had introduced a technology even before this about two years ago. The company had introduced Smart Tire Technology in the year 2020 and now this year in 2022 has brought Puncture Guard Technology. The company’s chairman and managing director (MD) Raghupati Singhania says that through this technology, vehicle owners will get high level of safety and convenience. According to the statement issued by the company, it has been tested in all types of on-road and off-road conditions in the country. Smart Tire Technology provides real time information about tire health through smart sensors. In this technology, real time information of tire pressure and temperature is available. This data is collected and goes to the mobile phone of the vehicle owner via Bluetooth and it can also be viewed through the app.
