Ola is preparing fast for the launch of its first electric scooter. In such a situation, the company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has shared a video of his electric scooter showing how the performance of this scooter is and how it works.

Ola Electric is preparing to launch its electric scooter as soon as possible and it is expected that its price and other things can be told by the end of this month. This first electric scooter of the company can be offered at a price of one lakh rupees and will give tough competition to its rival Ather Energy 450X.

150 km range
This electric scooter from Ola will get a range of 150 km in a single charge. With this, its top speed will be 90 kilometers per hour. This electric scooter will come with a home charger and will get a home charger which will not require any installation and will give customers the opportunity to charge their vehicle at home and it can be charged from a regular wall socket. .
Along with offering home charging solutions to the customers, Ola is also planning to setup a large electric charging network so that electric vehicle owners do not face any problem in scooter charging across India. The company has started the installation of ‘Hypercharger Network’ in India in which one lakh charging points will be installed in 400 cities. In the first year, Ola will set up 5000 charging points in 100 cities.
This scooter will be charged up to 50 percent in 18 minutes
Ola claims that this fast charging solution will charge the scooter 50 percent in just 18 minutes and will get a range of 75 km. Along with this, the facility of smartphone connectivity will also be available in this electric scooter, which will help in giving real time information of charging status through Ola Electric app. With this, you will also be able to pay for this service through this app.
Let us tell you that the launch of this electric scooter is part of Ola’s global vision which aims to make mobility cheaper, better and connected to the future. The company has invested Rs 2400 crore to become the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturing facility, which will be set up in Tamil Nadu.
