Okaya Electric launched its new high-speed electric scooter Okaya Fast at the recently held EV Expo 2021. The Okaya Fast electric scooter has been launched with a price tag of Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom (excluding state subsidy). Bookings for the same have already started. Book it on the company’s official website by paying a token amount of Rs 2,000. Apart from this, you can also book it by visiting your nearest Okaya EV dealership.

Know the specialty of this electric scooter
Talking about the specialty of this electric scooter, the top speed of the new Okaya Fast is 60-70 kmph. It has a 4.4 kW lithium phosphate battery. The company claims that this scooter will give a range of 150 km on a single charge. Apart from this, its range can increase up to 200 km depending on the usage. Talking about the features, the Okaya Fast gets an LED headlamp with LED DRLs, a digital instrument cluster and a combined braking system for safety.

Speaking on the launch, Anil Gupta, Managing Director, Okaya Power Group said, “Okaya is working towards making India a 100% EV nation. With OKAYA FAST we have launched the best performing e-scooter at a low cost in the country. With the creation of the required fast-charging infrastructure for e-scooters, Okaya has already emerged as a major player in this segment.”
Anshul Gupta, Director, Okaya Power Pvt Ltd said, “With the exclusive ‘Okaya Fast e-scooter’ we are launching a high-end performance EV keeping in mind the changing preferences of the consumers.” Moreover, according to the company, Okaya has established over 225 dealerships across the country in the first six months of its inception. Okaya showcased its upcoming electric bike, the Ferrato, at the EV Expo, which is expected to launch in the second quarter of FY22.
